Worcester Radio Group is a non-profit amateur radio club in Worcester County, Maryland, and an ARRL affiliate dedicated to keeping the airwaves alive from the beaches of Ocean City to the heart of Berlin. Whether you’re a coastal communicator tuning in from your beach house, a new Tech eyeing your first QSO, or a seasoned operator supporting Skywarn during hurricane season, we’re your local hub for all things ham. From our weekly nets on the K3ORB UHF repeater overlooking the Atlantic to annual events like Field Day and Fall Meet-Ups, we foster experimentation, emergency preparedness, and plain old fun on the bands.
Join the Conversation On and Off the Air We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Berlin Fire Company Administrative Building (doors open at 6:00 p.m. for testing and fellowship, note our summer break in July and August), and we’re on the air every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. for the Worcester County Amateur Radio Net via the K3ORB repeater (443.450 MHz +5 offset, PL 151.4). New to the hobby? Enroll in our Tech class, book an exam, or just lurk and listen—we’re open to everybody with an interest in communication. Become a member today for access to our mailing list, events, news, and the camaraderie of hams who know the best spots for a portable setup along Assateague.
Thank you for stopping by!
